Non-urgent advice: About your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

By phone

Face to face at the surgery

On a video call in exceptional circumstances only

Appointments by phone or video call can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Non-urgent advice: Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

– Phone us Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6.00pm

– Use your NHS account through the NHS website or in the NHS App.

Each month hours of GP and practice nurse time is wasted due to patients not turning up for their appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer need your appointment.

You’ll receive a text message when you book your appointment and again 24-48 hours before your appointment.

Non-urgent advice: Please Note

To access the online booking facility you first need to call into our reception to register. This only takes a few minutes and the receptionist will explain the process to you and issue you with a password. You will then be able to make, cancel and rearrange your GP appointments online.

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111.

111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
